Can we have a bespoke scheme to the Christmas tree we hire?
Yes, we can provide bespoke colour schemes. Contact us at [email protected] or 01322 292 644 to discuss your requirements. In general, we can mix any colours that we currently offer. If you would like a specific corporate theme, please contact us for a bespoke quotation.
Can I order a wreath on its own, without Christmas tree hire?
Both wreaths and garlands are only available as part of your Christmas tree order, and cannot be ordered individually.
Can I add my own decorations?
Yes, you can order an undecorated tree and add your own decorations. You must ensure you remove all decorations prior to collection.
What kind of power supply do I need?
It is the client’s responsibility to provide a safe 240v mains supply to the base of each tree, and we recommend that a circuit breaker is fitted. We are unable to provide extension leads. Please note that larger trees require several sockets. If the installation team deem that any extension leads/wiring is unsafe, then they will install the tree and lights, ensure all lights are working, then unplug the tree and leave leads in a safe position. We are not responsible for protecting leads across walkways/open areas etc.
We have no power supply where the tree will go, would you be able to provide battery powered lights?
Where possible, please do try and run power to the tree location with extension leads, as battery lights tend to be less reliable than mains power. The cable from the bottom light is approximately 2 metres, so the socket should be no further than this for the tree. If required, we can provide battery lights. In this instance, we will supply batteries initially, but you are responsible for replacing any batteries as required during the hire period.
Are the lights PAT tested?
Yes, all the Christmas lights are PAT tested.
When will you deliver my tree?
We always aim to deliver on the chosen week you have selected on your order placement. However, we schedule delivery and collection geographically and have to be practical and efficient. We will communicate accurate delivery and collection dates nearer the time.
How do I care for my tree?
Maintaining a supply of fresh water to the trunk of cut trees will help prolong the freshness of the foliage. Check the stand water level daily and top-up the water level if it has dropped using plain tap water only. Hot, dry or dark conditions will speed up the deterioration of the needles. Instruction for care of your festive trees will be provided. Our replica trees require no maintenance.
When will you collect my tree?
When ordering your tree, select your preferred collection slot. We will plan our logistics carefully and confirm nearer the time when to expect your tree collection.
Wreath & garland installation – how are they fixed?
Our installation team use adhesive or suction hooks which are able to support the weight of the garlands and wreaths, but they will only stick to non-absorbent surfaces, i.e. marble or laminate walls or reception desk. We never put nails or screws into any of the customer’s fixings, as these would leave damage. We will ensure we get all information from you in advance so that our teams are able to secure the wreaths and garlands in place.
What is the cancellation fee?
Due to the pre-ordering required to ensure your Christmas trees arrive on time, we do have to pass on cancellation fees as follows:
For trees cancelled up to and including 11th October 2024 we will refund 100%
For trees cancelled between 12th October – 1st November 2024 we will refund 50%
For trees cancelled from 2nd November 2024 onwards unfortunately we will not be able to refund.
